Overnight in Rio De Janeiro Day 11 Rio De Janeiro Today after breakfast, visit two of the most famous sights in Rio de Janeiro are at your fingertips on this day-long tour. First thing in the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken through downtown Rio for a panoramic tour. Ride the iconic cable cars all the way up the mountain, stopping at Urca Hill and its vantage point overlooking Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niteroi bridge and Corcovado mountain. Today after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel for a city tour of Buenos Aires. Next continue for a tour of the Argentinean falls. The Green Train leads us to the Upper and Lower trails. A walk along the catwalks, takes you to enjoy the most spectacular sight from the most important balcony: the Devil’s Gorge.

Lima - Cusco

Today, you fly to Cusco, where you will be met at the airport by a local guide, who will take you to your hotel. Since Cuzco is at a high altitude, there could be respiratory problems, but hotels here supply free ‘special tea’ and oxygen cylinders to take care of such problems. Take a guided city tour of Cuzco in the afternoon to see the archaeological sites that date from Inca times and colonial art treasures from Spanish times. Visit the famous Temple of the Sun and the Korikancha - the most important temple in the Inca Empire. Overnight in Cusco.

(Feb 27 Thurs): Machu Picchu

Today, we take a full-day tour to Machu Picchu - also called the Lost City of the Incas. We take a train till Aguas Calientes and then a small bus up the steep mountain to the ruins of Machu Picchu, high in the Andes mountains. This wonderful stone city was constructed with a technique incredible for its era and even for present times. The ‘Cultural Heritage of Mankind’ is another of its names. Overnight in Cusco.
