    DULL STUDENT

    A miserable schooling I had;Trying to be what I would never be.My best efforts at ousting their intelligence were a naught

    So I was dull; measured on the scale of their intelligence.

    Cramming and rententivity;That was not for me.Silence and opinions did not count.

    So I had no future.

    A stock of mockery and laughter;

    A stubborn bad boy I was.

    Persistently and stubbornly asking questions.Punishable questions they were!!!The poor notorious noise maker.A punishment template even for the sake of it.

    Pitied to be dismissed. I dont know why.

    And I managed an Abrahamssuccess.And the society welcomed me.And approved my smartness.

    And I was at my best.And happy discoveriesAnd tears of relief.

    And I can.And Can you?

    Intelligence faces smartness.Their best efforts at ousting my smartness are now a naught.Frustration-tainted intelligence. Jammed knowledge heads.

    I now realize those papers called certificates,

    accreditations are confirmations;Are seldom determinants;

    Worst still, of character.

    Correct yourself Mr. Scale balance.

    I forgive myself; I struggled to be like them.I also forgive their provocative ignorance.I pray they discover their identity.I could not be what I could not be.
