Venturn was created in 2001 by its Founding Partner, Patrick van de Ven. It started out as a small venture 15 years ago when Patrick decided he wanted to create a new and different working culture for himself and others. Venturn was born! Ten years ago Niels Romme joined Venturn and together they created an organisation that would inspire and encourage people and business in the maritime industry to keep moving and improving.

As active water-sports enthusiasts with careers in shipping we wholly support this organisation.

Venturn donates one percent of our annual turnover to these dedicated rescue teams. We do it in good times and in bad times. We have committed to doing this for a period of 20 years.
