The Lord tells Ezekiel that the delight of his eyes would die, he was not to morn

(was not to lament, weep or shed a tear) because Judah was going to

loose the Temple (their delight)

Jeremiah was given a vision to buy a property from an uncle because he was the next kinsmen (the Leveret Law) as a sign of hope that once

again land would be bought and sold in Judah.

Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians, the king blinded and officials and kings sons killed. The temple burned, as was the palace and other important

buildings. Temple articles carried off.
