Close to $11,000 was raised at the event to help Community Caregivers of Greater Derry’s mission to help neighbors in 7 towns. This fundraiser will allow over 460 volunteers to help over 350 elderly and disabled stay in their homes as long as possible through caregiving tasks, free of charge. This fundraiser also helps to sustain our Loaner’s Closet for Durable Medical Equipment. The World Famous Red Star Twirlers were on hand to help serve and clean up! Bread & desserts were donated from some very generous bakers and grocery stores. The 50/50 raffle was another big success with a lucky winner getting $400! 275 handcrafted pottery bowls were donated by local potters and schools. Over 70 fabulous volunteers helped from picking up soups, to clean up and everything in between! Our silent auction of 75 items included many familiar mediums, such as wood work, fiber arts, framed oil and water color, and jewelry, worth Tasty soups were donated by 14 incredibly giving restaurants. Pottery wheel demonstrations were fascinating for young and old alike. Friends enjoyed an inexpensive night out for a good cause. 5 Florists showed they care by providing beautiful centerpieces.

15th Annual Potter’s Bowl Highlights

Close to $11,000 was raised at the event to help Community Caregivers of Greater Derry’s mission to help neighbors in 7 towns.

This fundraiser will allow over 460 volunteers to help over 350 elderly and disabled stay in their homes as long as possible through
