A suite of adventure-enhancing controls at your fingertips. Among the high-tech advances, you’ll find switches for Active Height Control, Turn Assist and Adaptive Variable Suspension.

REAR-SEAT ENTERTAINMENT

The available dual-screen Rear- Seat Entertainment System (RSES)15 allows the left and right rear-seat passengers to enjoy separate entertainment. With 7.0-inch LCD screens located behind the driver’s and front passenger’s headrests, the system features a pair of wireless headphones16 and can be used as a DVD player, audio player or game console.

VISIBILITY

To provide enhanced visibility, the LX features a backup camera.9 And, to help you see around blind corners, such as when exiting a parking garage, there is an available Wide-view Front and Side Monitor system.10 For added convenience, a second camera located underneath the passenger side-mirror11 is particularly useful when navigating narrow passage-ways and tight parking spaces.

CAPABILITY

Your driving experience can be personalized with a range of driver- selectable options. With the simple press of a button, CRAWL Control8 carefully manages the engine and brakes to help you maintain a slow, consistent speed when traveling up, down and over rugged terrain. For added control, you can alter- nate between five speeds using a toggle switch.

CONVENIENCE

The LX is as capable as it is convenient. Along with its power second- and third-row seating for easy cargo loading,2 there’s a power rear door with an accom-modating clamshell design. The lower tailgate can be manually raised and lowered, aiding cargo access. And as an added touch, the available cool box is neatly integrated in the front console under the center armrest to keep your beverages nicely chilled.

V8 POWER

The go-anywhere, do-anything LX combines the power of a 383-hp1 V8 with the grace of a six-speed sequential-shift transmission, which helps provide optimal acceleration, efficiency and seamless shifting. Plus, the dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence system (VVT-i) improves towing power12,13 and boosts performance at higher speeds.

CLIMATE CONTROL

With 28 vents throughout the cabin, the LX features a standard first-in-class four-zone climate- control system that allows you and your passengers to select individual temperature settings. And along with heated front seats and available heated second-row seats, the LX offers a heated steering wheel and even a windshield-wiper deicer.

PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM

To help you prepare for and, if possible, avoid potential frontal collisions, an available Pre- Collision System17 is designed to watch the road ahead for obstacles and warn you of their presence with beeps and visible indicators.

MULTI-DIMENSIONAL AUDIO

The available 450-watt Mark Levinson® Reference Surround Sound Audio System14 was tuned for more than 4,000 hours to optimize the acoustics in the LX.
