The Mecalac uses only one lane, irres-pective of the job to be done, and remainsefficient, even in the most restrictedplaces
Whether you are in thebuilding or road industries, local authorities, cable orpipe layers, landscapegardeners, working in urbanareas... Mecalac endeavour tomeet your requirements forcompactness, performanceand cost-effectiveness.
Picking up the heaviest loads up andpositioning them precisely and safely areusual jobs for the Mecalac. Unloading a lorry, handling a pallet 3,5metres below ground, or setting it downover a wall are also part of daily work.

MULTIFUNCTIONS WHEELED MACHINE
14MBX
With over 25 years of practical experience at your side, Mecalac offeroriginal and innovative solutions:
> boom ram mounted on parallelogram
> turret with total rotation, independent of the engine
> standard operating modes: to standard ISO 10968.
A single Mecalac on the site fordiggging, loading, handling and lots ofother jobs ...
Tool changing is done in just a fewseconds from the cab, thanks to the quick-release coupling with automatic locking.
5CEPT FOR YOUR URBAN SITES
COST-EFFECTIVENESS…
Efficiency of the operatingsequence, quick-releasecoupling, compactness andspeed of cycles give theMecalac all its flexibility.
TO WORK BETTER AND M
A PANORAMIC, COMFORTABLE CAB:
STANDARD OPERATION - COMPLYINGWITH STANDARD ISO 10968:
MULTIFUNCTIONS WHEELED MACHINE
14MBX
In Excavator Mode, the Mecalac, with its 3-part equipment, behaves like a standardexcavator with 2-part equipment, thanks to the patented ram coupling system.
In Loader Mode, the Mecalac behaves like a standard loader, the operator having his lefthand on the steering wheel and his right hand on the manipulator.
In Mecalac Modes, the operator controls each equipment and accessory ram individuallyto meet particular situations.
The cab, in order to meet the FOPS and ROPS safety requirements, is particularlyspacious. With large glazed areas, you can see all of the equipment and siteenvironment. Separated from the engine, it has a very low sound level.
Comfort equipment : foldaway front windscreen, high-performance ventilation, filtering sun visor, multi-adjustable seat, (pneumatic seat asan option), very efficient air conditioning*, heating and defrosting, adjustable steering column...
Inching for a slow approach: This pedal permits a slow, precise approach whilst keeping theengine at maximum speed in order to deliver the power required tothe equipment.
Load Sensing for optimum pressure on theequipment:This system adapts the hydraulic pressure on the equipment tomeet the effort required.

SOPHISTICATED FUNCTIONS:
Ergonomic cab design, safetyand low sound level areessential to the operator’sefficiency throughout the day.Ease of operation andprecision of controls makethe Mecalac a machineaccessible to everyone.
Cab comfort and easyoperation, precision andprogressiveness of thecontrols contribute to makingthe Mecalac a high-productivity machine.
MULTIFUNCTIONS WHEELED MACHINE

The articulated undercarriage and theoscillating rear axle (+/- 8°) providefaultless all-terrain behaviour. In addition, the hydraulic equipment and travelcircuits are independent and give themachine excellent capabilities in difficultterrain.
Equipped with a transfer gearbox, the14MBX offers a range of speeds on road0 to 30 kph, site 0 to 12 kph. The tractiveforce of 7500 daN permits highperformances when working as a loader.
The turbocharged intercooler enginedelivers 111 hp (82 kW) at 2200 rpm, which makes the 14MBX the machine forall sites. Transversely mounted on the rearundercarriage, it contributes to themachine’s compactness and stability.
The oscillation lock provides additionalstability for work phases to the side.
Designed for the hardestwork, the 14MBX fullycombines versatility andproductivity.
SPECIFIC ADVANTAGE
While its dimensions put it amongst the compact machines, its capabilities arethose of much heavier machines.
The articulated boom kinematics with the parallelogram-mounted boom ram permitsrotation in a radius of just 1.60 m.When lifting, the 14MBX is capable of carrying the heaviest lifting joists and placingconcrete chambers, all that as close as possible to the wheels, because space is limitedon your town sites. The independent stabilizers are controlled from the cab. Available also in a telescopicversion (as an option), they make the machine even more stable when working to theside. The hydraulic offset, available as standard, permits all digging, loading and groundlevelling work in confined spaces. The quick-release coupling is standard equipment. Itgives the 14MBX the additional advantage of versatility..
Transversely mounted in the rearundercarriage section, the engine is easilyaccessible from the ground for allmaintenance operations. The covers are wide, and permit easyaccess to all parts. The control valve isaccessible at a convenient height. The number of greasing points isparticularly small, thanks to the one-shotgreasing of the parallelogram and crownwheel*..The diesel tank can be filled easily fromthe ground.
* As an option:• Simultaneous greasing of the parallelogram, crown
wheel and equipment
COMPACT AND POWERFUL
EASY MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING…
9GES...
Ease of daily servicing, andmaintenance, are particularlyreduced making the machinepermanently available.
