    This course encompasses all aspects of the LTE radiointerface and E-UTRAN functions and protocols. A fulland detailed description of the LTE radio interface isgiven including an introduction to OFDMA and itsapplication in LTE. The LTE radio interface layer 2protocols are examined and the upper control planelayers of RRC and NAS are also covered. The eNB isthe focus of the E-UTRAN therefore this course willdetail the functions of the eNB and the supportedinterfaces, these include the Uu, S1_MME, S1_U andX2 The protocols and operation of the S1 interfaces,control plane and user plane are described, withexamples of typical signalling and data transferprocedures given.     LTE Technology Boot Camp

    This course covers all aspects of LTE core networkand radio interface technologies. Day 1 starts with anoverview of LTE including an examination of thebroadband wireless market, the role that LTE plays inthe future of mobile broadband and an overview of theLTE architecture.
