• 20 years of study about the influence of physical exercise (aerobic and anaerobic) on healthy and pathological subjects.

• Application of the studies in our medical work. We proposed and we propose physical exercise as prevention, as cardiovascular rehabilitation but also as a“coadjuvant drug”.

• After the Medical examination we study the fitness profile and consequently we prescribe a personal training.

Purpose

• Promotion of physical and mental health through sport (indoor and outdoor in a natural environment) in different age subjects, involving the school and the work place.

• Training of the sports University Students according to the input of “Sport for All 2008”

Methods

• Questionaire completed by 3000 children aged 6-13 to offer them the opportunity to voice their opinions about the sport schools and to collect information about their lifestyle, their health, their problems

• Results compared with those of the same questionnaire proposed in 2002

Methods

• Examination of two different groups of working subjects: 25 employers and amministrators of a village (aged 30/55) 124 italian soldiers (aged 28/60)

• Medical examination (including ECG, blood routine tests, etc.)

• Fitness profile with the American College of Sport Medicine method

Program of multidisciplinary training including sport climbing

• Climbing is a spontaneous movement but children are loosing it.

• Climbing is a pleasent movement for muscular training articulations’ mobility flexibility of all the rachis

Methods Examination after 3 months and after 1 year

• Graduation thesis of 5 students of the sport University of Perugia on Sport for All health topics through projects involving local and immigrant people, specially promoving the sports in a natural environement (hiking, swimming, nordik walking, plain air gymnasium)
