Welcome!

Hey there! Welcome to the Magazine, my name is Dean,

most of you will know me as ‘Dean’ the Scottish Global Mod on the site. I’m 17, just left school and have applied at Uni to study Computer Science. To find me on TTG, simply look for the fifa section.

I decided to first create the ‘TTG Mag’ back in around June 2010, with me releasing just one copy, then not having the time for more, haha! Yeah I know, it failed, and this probably will be the only issue for a while once again, with University coming up. Hope you enjoy the mag!

Although details are very thin right now, what I can tell you is that the game centralises around the trial of Kilo Squad (which includes Augustus Cole and Baird) over accusations of treason following a battle with the Locust. The game is known to be a a Prequel to the original Gears of War, so don’t expect the weapons in the game to impress you so much. My guess is that it will be the basics com-pared to what we’re used to. The only gun I can pretty much bet on the return is the Retro Lancer, which would have been used by many during those battles - Before the chainsaw. I’ve tried to find all I can on the game for now, but sadly its not too much.

The announcement of the game was a surprise to me. Who would’ve expected one more of the Gears of War series hitting our shelves?

Expect to see this hitting stores in 2013 - in my mind this could be big, maybe even on Next Gen Consoles!

Important Info

. The game will take place early in the Locust War and rotates around 'Kilo Squad'. We see the return of the characters of Cole and Baird. So far 3 new Characters have been confirmed; - Sofia Hendrik; A Gear in the Coalition of Ordered Governments army which in the game serves alongside Kilo Squad. - Ezra Loomis; An Officer in the Coalition of Ordered Governments army who charged Kilo squad for treason over an incident in the Locust War. - Garron Paduk is a Gear whom fights to take revenge on the Locust, after an attack on his fellow militia, during the Pendulum wars, which resulted in him being saved by COG navy.

It’s that time of year again! The next introduction to the series of the very success-ful franchise is FIFA 13, which is due for release on Sept 28th in Europe, and Sept 25th in North America.

Once again this year EA Sports have tried to bring more & more features to the already feature-packed game. This year the most noticeable one

being ‘FIFA 13 First touch Control’ - bringing a much more realistic feel to the game, as well as making it possible to try new ways to weave ways past the opponents defence. This coupled along with another new feature; ‘Attacking Intelligence’ What this means is that com-pared to the past games in the FIFA series is that in this game , you hopefully won’t have the main problem that we all had before, the AI not making those runs for you. Hopefully meaning the game flow alot better and making each and every attack unique. In this issue I will show all the Screenshots that I can find, as well as provide all of the info that I possibly can.

Other Notable features

PLAYER IMPACT ENGINE : We see the return of the impact engine technology seen in Fifa 12 again this year, said by EA to have been overhauled and made far more realistic, while not ruining the game with all the bugs that it brought in Fifa 12. I guess only time will tell with this one...

FIFA 13 TACTICAL FREEKICK : THis year we see a far more customisable approach to the freekicks we take in the game. Now we have the choice of dummys, chips, power shots, lay off’s, fakes... you name it! I guess it will just make it all that more interesting for the keeper of the other team, especially in Pro CLubs!

EA SPORTS FOOTBALL CLUB : This year Ea football club will mean far more to you when playing the game, as you rank up with XP from games and challenges you complete, you will not only be moving up the leaderboards against friends, but also working to-wards rewards such as kits, balls, stadiums etc. which can be used in other parts of the game... Including Pro Clubs!

Complete Dribbling : Last year Ea introduced the idea of 360 dribbling, which to be honest was impressive, but this year they say to have taken it a step further with complete control allowing for much more precise dribbling for taking on those last defenders. Honestly can’t wait to see how it is in game.

Let’s be honest, not one of us expected to see Halo 4 announced at last years E3. 1 Year on, alot of information on the game is now being released. The fan base of Halo is just immense, and to be quite honest I don’t blame Mucrosoft Studios for releasing yet another game into the already very succesful series. This time we see the game released by Microsoft founded - 343 Industries, who’ll take over reign of the series from Bungie whom separated from Microsoft in 2007. In Halo 4 expect to see a much more advanced character, with big differences to be seen between the old and new versions of the Spartan Armour. (See Right).Another part that has been worked on alot in the game is the Multiplayer and Forge mode, with Multiplayer said to be completely different compared to what Halo Fans are used to. The story of Halo 4 takes place not too long after the ending of Halo 3, and here we see the return of the famous Haloicon: Masterchief. The game takes placemainly on a newlydiscovered planet named Requiem. Expect to see yet another awesome story mode in this Halo where you will meetmany brand new enemies, aswell as possibly getting to use brand new, more advanced weaponary. Also the all new multiplayer in the game is said to be fully revolutionised, and is apparently a brand new approach to the Halo MP idea, probably pleasing many new players to the franchise, but sadly maybe even grudging off Halo Franchise Veterans... Before the game is even released! Honestly, I myself am not very interested in the Halo Franchise, I don’t like the games at all, but for all who are fans, I’m sure you will love this game.
