Jeremy Buurma, Eastern New Mexico University, scored the first two touchdowns of Saturday’s Wagon Wheel game against West Texas A&M and never looked back, on the way to Eastern’s second straight win over the Buffaloes. He rushed for a career-best 81 yards and completed 75 percent of his passes. Buurma completed five of his six third-down attempts, with one of the completions successfully converting three third-and-long situations. His performance helped ENMU charge to a 21-0 lead and hold the ball for 41:08 of play. Zed Woerner, Tarleton State University, had a spectacular showing in Saturday’s game against Angelo State. The sophomore QB from Marble Falls, who began the season as the third string quarterback, was forced to play the entire game following an injury to starter Collin Strahan on the second offensive play of the game. Woerner responded by throwing for 302 yards on 31-44 passing with a touchdown and an interception. He also ran for 20 yards and a score. Deric Davis, Texas A&M University - Commerce, was responsible for four of the Lions 12 offensive touchdowns in the 91-13 rout of McMurry that clinched the Lone Star Conference Championship outright on senior day. Davis opened the scoring with a two-yard run with 9:19 showing on the clock in the first quarter. His second score came with 12:48 on the clock in the second quarter when he again scored on a rush in short yardage situation, this time from five yards out. Davis came out and took over the quarter back duties to open the second half, and promptly opened with a 43-yard strike to wideout Vernon Johnson. Later in the third, Davis connected with Smith on two-yard pass. Half, two, of his four passes went for scores and the senior finished perfect on the game completing all four of his attempts. In two seasons against McMurry, Davis has been responsible for 10 touchdowns after scoring six rushing TDs in 2013. Davis has been a huge reason why the Lions lead the nation in scoring averaging 54.2 points per game. Marc Martinez, Tarleton State University, had the best individual game of his stellar four-year playing career Saturday night in his final home game for Tarleton. The senior from Waco led all players with a career-high 19 tackles and also had two of the Texans’ three turnovers – a fumble recovery, which he ran back 68 yards to set up the first Tarleton touchdown of the night, and an interception. Martinez and the Texan defense shut down the Angelo offense over the first half, holding the Rams to just three points on just 168 total yards of offense. Rush Seaver, Angelo State University, led the Ram defense with a 16 total tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss in the 34-31 win over Tarleton State. Seaver and the defense opened the game by forcing five-straight punts and ended the game with three-straight punts and an interception to seal the win. It is the sixth game of the season of at least 10 tackles for the senior linebacker. He is currently No. 3 in NCAA Division II averaging 14.1 tackles per game. Hunter Streuling, West Texas A&M University, was all over the field once again for the Buffs this weekend as he tallied 11 total tackles and 10 solo stops which led the team. It was Streuling’s third game of double-digit tackles and first of 10 solo tackles. He now has back-to-back double digit total tackle games. Seth Bailey, Eastern New Mexico University, keyed a defensive effort which limited West Texas A&M to a season-low 266 yards of total offense, below their average of 427.4 yards per game. In the first half, Eastern allowed just 35 offensive yards and charged to a 21-point lead. With the Hounds leading 14-0 in the first quarter, Bailey forced a fumble, which led to a Greyhound touchdown, just three plays later. The

turnover marked the fifth time this season in which Bailey was involved in a turnover. Eric Olson, Midwestern State University, made a season-high five tackles including a sack to play a key role in Midwestern State’s best defensive efforts of the season. The senior defensive end from Wichita Falls sacked Texas A&M-Kingsville’s Trey Mitchell for a 17-yard loss late in the third quarter while also recording a quarterback hurry. The Mustangs limited Texas A&M-Kingsvillle to 147 yards of total offense holding the Javelinas to 44 total yards over the final 10 possessions of the game. Glenn Roberts, Tarleton State University, led the Texans special teamers with 88 yards on three kickoff returns. Mitchell Cox, Eastern New Mexico University, scored seven points in the Greyhounds 10-point win over West Texas A&M for the Wagon Wheel. His 40-yard field goal at the end of the third quarter put Eastern up by 24 points, which heavily impacted the fourth quarter. Four of Cox’s six kickoffs went for touchbacks and he had a 43-yard punt in the first quarter. Andy Alkhazshvilly, Midwestern State University, connected on field goals from 33 and 37 yards out and was a perfect 6-for-6 on point-after attempts to account for 13 points in Midwestern State’s 48-7 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville Saturday night at Javelina Stadium.
