Description In 1969 R.T. Nelson Painting Service, a large industrial painting contractor, was painting the interior of the Western Electric plant in Oklahoma City, OK where R. T. Nelson watched steel beams being cleaned in a stationary shotblasting machine. R.T. was impressed by the level of cleanliness achieved through shotblasting as well as the lack of cleanup required as compared to open blasting. R.T. realized that a portable shotblasting machine would be an ideal surface preparation tool. BlastPro® is privileged to be the only portable shotblasting equipment manufacturer to use Jim Goff’s patented RimLoc blastwheel system in its portable shotblasting equipment and manufactures the highest quality portable shotblasting equipment on the market today. The RimLoc blastwheel technology greatly increases the productivity of portable shotblasting equipment while lowering maintenance costs and decreasing downtime. There is no doubt that BlastPro is manufacturing superior portable shotblasting equipment.”
Description In 1997, Vin McLoughlin and Tom Hostetler recognized the need for a third-party logistics company focused on dedicated contract carriage. With the goal of providing customers the best resources and flexibility to efficiently manage their supply chains, they assembled a team of logistics experts and formed Cardinal Logistics Management as a privately-held corporation in July 1997. Cardinal’s expertise, innovation and intent focus on customer satisfaction set the company apart from other third-party logistics providers in the dedicated segment. Cardinal quickly experienced significant growth as its service offerings and customer base expanded to include construction and building materials, retail, JIT manufacturing support, recycling, food and beverage, bulk transport, and now offering dedicated technology solutions as Software as a Service (SaaS). Cardinal and Greatwide integrated their dedicated business in 2013, creating one of the largest, most diverse dedicated fleet operations in the country. Cardinal has transformed into a sophisticated logistics partner maintaining its core values of flexibility, customer service and customized technology. With operations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, Cardinal is quite a success story. Cardinal employs 4,000 drivers and staff, and each member of the Cardinal team plays a vital role in continuing to take our organization to the next level.
