Need For This Project

blessing to trade between important cities in Gujarat

considering Vadodara is an important chemical,

pharmaceuticals, cotton textiles and machine tools hub.

Ahmedabad is famous for its textile and garment industry

This expressway has come to assist and promote trade

between both the cities, since traveling time between the

cities has been reduced considerably.

The proposed improvement will aim at improving riding

quality and journey speed and reducing traffic congestion

on the highway

Environment Monitoring and Management Plan

An environmental budget for Rs. 9, 23, 47,500

(Rupees Nine Crores Twenty Three Lacs Forty Seven Thousand and Five Hundred Only) has been drawn up.

CONCLUSIONS

The proposed expansion aid in infrastructure development and

will act as a catalyst to boost the economic progress of the

state.

After the expressway NE-1 between Ahmedabad and Vadodara, the traffic has reduced considerably on NH 8 and this has affected the economic growth in the region.
