Dear Parents- The Olympic theme is well underway and the staff and children are working towards aGreek Focus Day on Friday 1st June. There will be a programme of events to follow and family and friends are

invited to "pop-in" during the day to see what the children have been learning. The Key Stage two childrenenjoyed their visit from the Deputy Lord Lieutenant and asked lots of questions about the Queen. We will be

celebrating the Queen's Jubilee with a street party style picnic lunch using our new trestle tables and benches.

Many thanks to SCPA who have donated some money towards the costs. Food is available to order from Food

with Thought and we are hoping the weather will have improved and we can eat lunch outside followed by some

If your family eats Nestle cereals, please

remember to tear off the token on the top of the box

and bring it in to school. It takes as little as 10 tokens

to get one book so the more tokens we collect the more

books we can receive for school. We are already

looking to place an order and thank you to the kind

parent who handed in a bagful of tokens!

office vouchers available in store until 20th May 2012.

YEAR 6 RESIDENTIAL TO THE

PIONEER CENTRE 2013If you have a child currently in Year 5, were

unable to make the presentation last week andwould like your child to participate in the

residential, please speak with Mr Cornish or Miss

Phillips for further details. To secure your childs

place a non refundable deposit of 50.00 is

required, payable to St Christophers CE school.

Thank you so much for all the

vouchers which have been handed in to school. We

are delighted that we collected 3070 vouchers

and have placed an order for:-

French skipping ropes / rip tag / rounders post &

base set / scoop set / cricket balls / large post /

action trainer .

All being well these should be with us before the

end of the summer term for all the children to

enjoy at playtime and/or in PE lessons. We were

however unable to order the eye masks to use

for our paralympic activities if anyone has or

knows anyone who would be happy to donate any

this would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

MINI OLYMPICS FESTIVAL

Congratulations to the Year 2 children who took part

in the Mini Olympics activity at Burford SecondarySchool last week.

The children worked in groups with the other

partnership schools and enjoyed running, throwing,

catching, hurdles to name a few Olympic activities.

As always, it was great to see the children enjoying
