  • Day 01

    Arrival at the airport in Rome, meeting with the tour leader and transfer.

    Arrival at the hotel in Rome, located right in the city centre.

    In the afternoon, you will take a walk and stop by in the most famous sites in the city: the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna with the Spanish steps.

    Rome is very rich in historical and architectural monuments: the historical centre within the Aurelian walls, the extraterritorial Properties of the Holy and San Paolo Fuori le Mura were all added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

    Besides, Rome is a very green city, with its numerous parks in the centre.

  • Day 02

    After breakfast, departure with the tour leader for a guided tour of the interesting and striking Vatican Mu-seums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica.

    In the afternoon, guided tour of Borghese Gallery.

    The gallery is situated in one the most popular parks of the city, and it houses an important part of the Bor-ghese collection, started by Cardinal Scipione Borghese who, in the 16th century, requested a villa to keep his collection of works in.

    You can also pay a visit to the very famous rococo Trevi Fountain, whose construction began in 1732 and en-ded in 1762. The water of the fountain comes from the “modern” Acqua Vergine, the revived Aqua Virgo, one of the aqueducts that supplied water to the ancient Rome. In the centre, on a rocky base, the statue of Ocean is on a shell cart dragged by two sea horses guided by tritons.

    You also have the possibility to visit the Jewish ghetto, established in 1555 by Pope Paul IV and now one of the most ancient and striking ghettos in the world.

    You will be stunned by the majesty of the Synagogue, by the Jewish Museum and by the delicious smell co-ming from the historical restaurants of the quarter where you will have the chance to taste one of the typical delicacies of the city.

    Day 03

    After breakfast, departure with the tour leader to reach Valeria’s culinary school by private bus. The school is located in a wonderful quarter in Rome. Valeria is a cooking teacher; she also collaborates with the Slow Food Organization.

  • Before starting with the cooking lesson, Valeria will take you to a local market where you will buy all the ingredients which are necessary for your recipes!

    Small lunch with a great wine!

    In the afternoon, guided tour of the Imperial Rome ( Coliseum, Ro-man Forum, Piazza Venezia).

    Day 04

    After breakfast, departure with the tour leader to reach a location on the border between Tuscany and Umbria.

    In fact, we will reach Orvieto at 11 am. Take the chance to wander through the streets of this wonderful small city!

    Light lunch at a wine and olive oil trade. Enjoy this unforgettable experience!

    The owner will let you visit an ancient cellar dug into the tuff stone and the ancient oil mill, owned by the family.

    Lunch with a great red and white wine of their selection. In the afternoon, arrival at the hotel.

    Overnight stay.

    Day 05

    After breakfast, departure with the tour leader and private bus.Today you will visit the amazing Val d’Orcia, in Tuscany. This site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004.

    Visit of Pienza.

    Next stop will be Giuseppe’s dairy factory, right in the heart of Val d’Or-cia. Giuseppe is the owner, he loves his job and he manages to transmit all of his passion while he explains how to make the delicious Pecorino of Pienza.

  • Small lunch. The tasting session of these tasty local products will be held in a wonderful hall with a charming chimney.

    In the afternoon we will reach Montalcino for a tasting session of the very famous Brunello red wine.Last stop of the day will be Bagno Vignoni.

    Day 06

    After breakfast, departure with the tour leader to reach Firenze by private bus. Before reaching Firenze we will stop at Fiesole, a small town located at the top of the hill of Flo-rence.

    Visit of the archeological site of Fiesole.

    We will have lunch at an historical residence which today serves as a wine and olive oil trade.Light lunch with delicious Tuscan recipes toge-ther with red wine and extra-virgin olive oil from this region.

    During the tasting session you will understand the difference between the Umbrian oil making process and the Tuscan one, both of high quality. In the early afternoon, arrival at the hotel in Florence.

    Meeting with a local guide to visit the most striking sites of this city: Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, (Old Bridge) and the Basilica of Santa Croce.

    Day 07

    After breakfast, meeting with the local guide to continue the visit of this amazing city on foot. You will see

  • the Cathedral, the Academia Gallery where Michelangelo’s sculpture David is kept and finally the Medici Chapel.In the afternoon, free time for shopping together with the tour leader.

    Day 08

    After breakfast, departure with the tour leader to reach Ve-nice by private bus.

    In the early afternoon, arrival at hotel.

    Then you will take a walk with the tour leader through the streets of Venice; you will get acquainted with some of the most important sites of the city: Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge and the numerous secrets that the city holds within its alleys!

    Day 09

    After breakfast, guided tour of the Doge Palace, Piazza San Marco and the Basilica. In the afternoon you will visit the Academia Bridge, Campo Santa Margherita and the amazing Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.

    Day 10

    A day dedicated to the islands of Ve-nice.

    After breakfast, departure to reach Mu-rano ( the island famous for its glass making ) by private motor boat.

    You will have the chance to visit one of the most enchanting glassmakers of the island . An expert will show you the art of glass-blowing. See the fini-shed piece of art.

    Next stop will be the picturesque Bura-no Island with its multi-colored houses

    and fishing boats that reflect in the water. It is said that the houses were painted in different colors so that the sailors and the fishermen could identify their houses as they came back from the sea in the middle of a thick mist.

  • Finally, you will see the hanging bell-tower of the tiny St. Martino Church. Inside there also is the painting of San Giovanni Tiepolo Crucifixion.

    At the end of the tour, you will come back to the city centre by the private motor boat.

    Transfer to the airport by private bus and tour leader.
