In lieu of using the offertory basket at Mass, Fr. Rafal asks that you send your offering online by clicking the Stewardship box above. Or if you prefer, you may mail your donations to the church.
Though the office doors have been locked, the priests and staff have been working diligently managing the business of the church and learning new technology systems to provide social communication and livestream Mass.

General Plan as received from Bishop Noonan, Diocese of Orlando
Returning to our Parishes St. Mark the Evangelist will be following the phased plan to re-open our parish using the schedule provided by the Diocese of Orlando. Below are the specific directions sent to us by Bishop Noonan.
The method and timing by which St. Mark implements the plan has not yet been determined. Please continue to follow announcements before Mass, Facebook, and our Website for updates with specific date and times.
Daily live stream efforts will continue throughout the month of May.
Monday, May 11
Parish churches may open to allow people to come in and pray. St. Mark will continue to provide the Sacrament of Penance “by appointment.”
Appropriate social distancing will be required. People may be denied entrance upon arrival or asked to leave the church if the numbers become greater than social distancing would allow.
Chapels and Adoration Chapels will not be open.
No Sunday Mass at any parish will be celebrated.

Sunday, May 30-31 Mass will be celebrated at parishes. Mass schedules may change to accommodate appropriate social distancing. Chapels and Adoration Chapels will not be open.
Please be advised that due to the protocols for social distancing, cleaning, and sanitizing, the social hall and enrichment center buildings will remain closed to the public through June 30, 2020.
All ministry meetings, classes, repast, and social events are suspended until the end of June 2020.
Again, these directions from the bishop will be followed in a timeline and method that has yet to be determined.

5th Sunday of Easter
Acts of the Apostles 6:1-7 | 1 Peter 2:4-9 | John 14:1-12
Gospel Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places.
If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. Where I am going you know the way.”
Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
Philip said to him, “Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else, believe because of the works themselves. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.”
Yes, we are in troubling times with this pandemic of the Coronavirus and other issues within our nation and the world, but with our faith in Christ we will overcome and we will all soon be fully united again in faith and as a loving community.
Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.”
1. Christ is not directly showing the disciples a place or location. He is talking about “relationship.” What is your relationship with Christ? Is it a permanent spiritual presence of Christ in your soul and mind?
2. In the gospel, Jesus is telling us “Do not let your hearts be troubled”, but rather, to have faith in God and Him. Where has trouble entered your life? Did you overcome it? Was it your faith that helped you? If trouble comes again are you better prepared to resolve it?
3. How and where is Jesus directing you? Is He calling you to do something for him?
4. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life…no one comes to the Father except through Me.” Based upon your own life, how do you interpret the directions Christ is giving you?
