What’s new? 2019

Agora of European institutional investors associations:A dedicated space and time for European institutional investors to share insights! This edition will be focusing on the theme of academic research with a concrete impact on investors’ allocation and investment choices.

Networking: Use our dedicated networking app to plan your schedule prior to the event and squeeze in several weeks of physical meetings with your most valuable leads !

Exclusive study for AGEFI:New forms of collaboration between institutional investors and asset managers.

Global Sustainable Awards*: This year, awards will be handed over during the VIP dinner on October 10, rewarding best initiatives in terms of social challenges (among ESG criteria) with 3 themes at honor : Gender parity, Inclusion & Integration, Fight against Poverty. Two personalities will be awarded the European Sustainable CEO Prizeand the Women’s Economic Empowerment Prize.

Dear Sir or Madam

European elections, never-ending Brexit, changes in ECB’s directory, uncertain market and geopolitical context… More than ever, investment professionals need to take step back and consider current market fluctuations in order to assess what will be the impact on their own businesses.

More than ever, because of this complex business and political scene, Global Invest Forum 18th edition promises to be a paneuropean event, bringing together institutional investors and major industry stakeholders to meet and share insights during a international 2-day event.

Speakers from all over Europe and above will be joining the debate to discuss a variety of topics, including major current policy issues, macroeconomic and regulatory environment, investment strategies in different asset classes, as well as methodologies and management.

Cross-cutting issue, consideration of ESG criteria will be discussed in depth through specific focus: international work on labels and taxonomy, governance, green investment and impact investing. While investors are all more than aware of their role in meeting sustainable investment requirements, approaches and methodologies to achieve this are multiple and complex ; open discussion between foreign investors will henceforth help them to have a better overview of the path to follow.

Global Sustainable Awards ceremony, to be held on the evening of October 10, will reward the best initiatives taken by asset owners, asset managers and companies to promote social criteria. Three themes will be highlighted: gender equality, inclusion and integration, fight against poverty. Two personalities will also receive the CEO European sustainable CEO and Women Economic Empowerment award.

Another novelty in 2019 will be the agora of Institutional Investors, organised in collaboration with the French Association of European Investors (Af2i). This afternoon of meetings and presentations will feature the some of the most prominent investors associations in Europe, allowing representatives to meet each other and bond while discussing of their main work areas for 2020. This first-time gathering will be dedicated to academic research, to highlight its concrete benefits on investors’ allocation choices.

Last but not least, the Forum will offer you a golden opportunity to extend your professional network: make the most of our dedicated networking app to book appointments with your business interests in one of l’Intercontinental Paris Opéra’s prestigious networking rooms.

I look forward to welcome you on this occasion!

Best regards,

Phillippe MudryL’AGEFI
