    INTRODUCTION

    This system proposes a technique whichallows passengers to save their time.

    Sends a SMS when the train reaches the previous station of which the passenger issupposed to board.

    Informs when passenger is nearing thedestination.

    This system uses micro-controller, RFID,power supply, memory, GSM, LCD display.

    WORKING

    Microcontroller connected to the RFID at transmittingend.

    GSM connected to the server pc at receiver end.

    RF card at each station owning its identity. RFID reader connected to the train reads the RFID

    tag at the station.

    Sends the information to server pc via GSM which inturn intimates the passengers.

    P1.0 and P1.1 can be configured to be thetimer/counter 2 external count input andthe timer/counter 2 trigger input .

    In the system P1.1 and P1.2 are

    connected to the external memory.

    Transfer of data and clock signals throughP1.1 and P1.2 respectively .

    PORT 2

    Emits the high-order address byte during

    fetches from external program memory andduring accesses to external data memory thatuse 16-bit address.

    During accesses to external data memory that

    use 8-bit addresses, Port 2 emits the contentsof the P2 Special Function Register.

    All the port 2 pins are connected to the LCD

    display.

    Port 3 pins exhibit alternate functions.

    P3.0 is connected to RFID.

    P3.1 is connected to GSM.

    LCD

    LCD is connected to the microcontrollerthrough the controller interface.

    LCD has an internal memory which storesthe information to be displayed.

    Any ASCII value of a character that is passedto the LCD module and that value is

    displayed.
