PRAYER
Almighty God, give me strength
to stand for the truth, to do the right
according to my light
to be just and generous in all my
dealings with my fellow-men
Let not an angry or unkind world
or an unsympathetic look pass
from me which might hurt the
feelings of others in any way.
Keep me free from envy and
hatred, and fill my heart with love
and good-will.
Make me, O Lord, a Vehicle of
hope and faith scattering sunshine
and happiness before all those
whom I come into contact in my
passage through life.
