We recommend that you spend some time reading the instruction manual in order to fully understand all the operational features it offers. If you dispose of it please do so according to any local regulations. CD Player Speakers x 2 Remote Control Amplifier Base Instruction Manual Speaker Cable x 2 (P.N.: SHFUSB10P0006) Remove the insulating mylar strip from the battery if the battery is being used for the first time. It is located at the bottom back side of the remote control. Setting the Clock Automatically Tune into a RDS station and wait for a few minutes. The clock will be automatically set. To view the time, press the CLOCK button. Setting the Clock Manually In standby mode, press the CLOCK button twice, SET CLOCK will be displayed and the hour indicator will flash. Set the hour with the VOL + / – button. Press the CLOCK button, minute indicator will then flash. Set the minute with the VOL + / – button. Press the CLOCK button to confirm. Close the battery compartment cover and wind the screw back on. Right Speaker Box The Amplifier The CD Player Left Speaker Box Connecting the FM Aerial Connecting the Control Cable Connecting to the Mains Supply Speaker Connections Back View 1 Connecting the FM Aerial Connect the FM wire aerial provided to the FM Aerial socket as illustrated below. 1 Speaker Connections Connect the speaker cables at the back of the speakers to the speaker sockets (L/R) at the rear side of the amplifier. 2 Connecting the Control Cable Connect the control cable between the CD player and the amplifier. 3 Connecting to the Mains Supply Insert the mains plug into a wall socket, and your system is ready to use. 4 3 4 2 2 2 Please ensure mains cable is DISCONNECTED from the mains socket before connecting any cables. • Reversing the steps by connecting the mains cable first may cause the unit to malfunction. • During operation if the cables / wires require to be reconnected, the mains must be disconnected first. Otherwise damage may be caused to the unit . Selecting Modes Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select CD, USB, AUX or TUNER mode. CD USB AUX TUNER Switching the unit On Press the STANDBY button at the front or on the remote control to switch the unit on. You can also press the short-cut buttons on the remote control ( , , , ) to select your desired mode.

Setting the Clock Automatically

Tune into a RDS station and wait for a few minutes. The clock will be automatically set.

To view the time, press the CLOCK button.

Connecting the FM Aerial

Connect the FM wire aerial provided to the FM Aerial socket as illustrated below.

Speaker Connections

Connect the speaker cables at the back of the speakers to the speaker sockets (L/R) at the rear side of the amplifier.

Connecting the Control Cable

Connect the control cable between the CD player and the amplifier.
