What is a Virtual Field Trip?•Creates an opportunity to explore and see places, things, and people not normally seen on a typical classroom day.
• During a classroom virtual field trip, students can explore places across the high seas, states across our country, and many nearby or far away people, places, and things.
• This is an opportunity to see and experience the world without ever leaving the classroom.
• The virtual field trip is cost effective to schools. It eliminates the costs of renting transportation, additional insurance coverage and the cost of chaperones.

• QR Stations
• Teacher or Student Created
• Post Field Trip
• Websites
W.6- Use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing and to interact and collaborate with others.

-Students look at the Mona Lisa and read the information.- Students will create their own picture of the Mona Lisa disguising her. - You can give a black and white color sheet and have them edit the image.
-Students look at the Louis XIV and read the text below.- Students will write a Fashion Report of what the King is wearing and explain why he has chosen this outfit. (Example: Why is the fleur de lis present on his robe?)
-Students look at the painting and read the information below- Students will write explanation of what is going on in the painting and discuss the historical significance of this painting as it relates to Louisiana history.
