CIRCULAR

Subject: Engagement of Retired Government Officials as Consultant at the level of Assistant/Section Officer - reg.

Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation invites applications as per details given below for the position of Consultant at the level of Assistant/Section Officer:

Finance Section ­

Qualification Job Requirements Graduate from a recognized University and retired/retiring 111 April, 2016 from the Government Sector.

Examination and processing of files to enable financial concurrence; Co-ordinating replies for Audit Paras; Scrutiny of salary bills/other payments; Calculation of TDS deductions; Monitoring of expenditure status and timely clearance various financial proposals.

Assisting 111 preparation of Budget proposals/reports and background note on various subject relating to Non-plan/Plan schemes; Preparation of Annual Statement of Accounts.

Monitoring/utilization of funds in a planned manner.

General Administration Section ­

Qualification Graduate from a recognized University and retired/retiring 111 April, 2016 from the Government Sector.

Job Requirements Service/co-ordination matters; processing

of files and follow up action on deputations abroad; MoUs/Agreements/IT Services.

Processing of files for inviting Tenders/ Technical & Financial Bids/Award of Tenders etc.

Procurement works & Managements.

Qualification Graduate from a recognized University and retired/retiring 111 April, 20 16 from the Government Sector.

Tariff Section ­

Legal Section ­

Job Requirements Establishment matters; recru itment & selection; Official Language Policy ; RTI ; Training & Development; Welfare/Grievances; Parliament questions & other related matters.

Qualification Job Requirements

Graduate from a recognized University, preferably 111 Commerce/Economics and retired/retiring 111 April , 2016 from the Government Sector.

Experience in collection, compilation and analysis of statistical data, computer skills and preparation of Project Report/ Reviews/ Briefs/Power-point Presentations.

Analytical and presentation skills.

Qualification Job Requirements

Graduate from a recognized University, Having legal background to deal effectively preferably in Law and retired/retiring 111 with Court Cases and matters related April , 2016 from the Government Sector. thereto .

REMUNERATION

The conso lidated fee to be paid to the Consultant by AERA would be the last Salary drawn minus Pension & Dearness Relief on Pension by him/her. However, Retired Officials will continue to draw Pension & Dearness Relief on Pension, during the period of their engagement as Consultant.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The age limit prescribed is, maximum up to 65 years as on so" April , 2016 .

II. Enga gement shall initially be for a period of six months or till regular incumbents

becomes available, whichever is earlier.

111. Extension of engagement, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of competent

authori ty.

IV. Working hours shall be from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, during working days

including half an hour lunch break between 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM . However, in

exigencies of work , he/she may be required to sit late and may be called or»>:': and other Gazetted Holidays.

v. Engagement may be terminated at any time by the competent authority without

assigning any reasons and without any notice.

VI. The AERA reserves the right to accept or reject in part or in full any or all the

respon ses without assigning any reasons , whatsoever.
