Dear Parents,

We are happy to meet you through the 3rd letter of the current academic year of our school.

This pandemic has taught us that change is the end result of all true learning. The change required today is

to test the intelligence and life skills of our children rather than testing their memory and memorizing power.

Learning how to learn is the most important skill in life.

Any skill that is useful in our life can be considered a life skill. We need to develop this in our kids to have the

actual maturity. Those with strong life skills are less likely to be reactive and they are aware of their surroundings

and themselves.

Being at home during the lockdown has taught all of us to be more cooperative and empathetic. The entire

family is at home together and this will help the kids to learn basic skills like proper way of communication

verbally or in writing, handling of criticism in a well manner which will help them to be self-aware and

thoughtful. Resilience is a virtue to be developed. This togetherness can help to learn apologizing and asking

for help. All these will result into making them more adaptive and analytical which will make them a true

learner who can be a leader tomorrow.

So have a positive attitude towards the Present and teach the basic life skills in every household task.

VIRTUAL DANCE PARTY: 15th MAY, 2020

Dance is expressions of creativity, confidence, self-discipline, poise and grace. And most importantly, dance is fun! So, was to our Pre-primary Rock stars, it was a Virtual Dance Party just before the Short Summer Break.

They swayed and swirled to the beat of tune played and tapped their feet with their peers to announce their

joy!

On 8th May World Red Cross Day was celebrated with the students wherein they came to know about the

duties of the Red Cross committee, who they cater to, and the person who started the organisation. Students

INTERNATIONAL MOTHER’S DAY: 10th MAY, 2020

10th May was celebrated as Mother’s Day. Our students were given instructions to prepare cards for their

mother on this beautiful day. Our students baked the cake, made cards etc. We appreciate those students

On 11th May 1998, India successfully tested Shakti-1 Nuclear missile at the Indian Army’s Pokhara test range in

Rajasthan, NTD also marks the flight of Hansa-3 developed by National Aerospace Laboratories and The

Defences Research and Development (DRDO) accomplished the last test fire of Trishul missile. Students

INTERNATIONAL NURSE DAY: 12th MAY, 2020

We celebrated the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, Mother of modern nursing. She was also

called “The lady with the lamp”. On that day nurses take the Florence Nightingale pledge before being

formally initiated into the profession of Nursing. Salute to all nurses and midwives struggling for us in his current

situation also.

SOCIAL SMARTNESS: 12th May, 2020

Students’ learning was assessed through various means wherein they participated in quizzes and open book

tests. They were given certain topics to prepare and explain in the class followed by group and individual

discussion.

SCIENCE EXPLORATION: 13th May, 2020

The students of grade 8 made presentations on Air pollution - causes, effects and ways of prevention and

reduction. They also briefed on the positive effects observed on the environment due to the recent lock

down.

Dear Parents,

Greetings!

Hope you all are doing well.

It’s a big sigh of relief that the lockdown period has come to an end in most parts of the India now.

As you are well aware, we have initiated the process of online classes and after the short break we are planning

to restart it from 8th June, 2020, Monday onwards.

We thank all the parents who have paid the fees during the lockdown period. Those who have not paid yet

are requested to take note of the following.

As instructed by the Department of Education, Government of Gujarat, please be informed that -

1. Lockdown period, as was envisaged by the Government, comes to an end on 31st May, 2020. We request

all the parents to pay the outstanding fees.

2. For outstanding falling in lockdown period (March, April & May), if you are in serious financial difficulties due

to Covid 19 outbreak, the School is willing to offer you the payment of fees in instalments. To avail this, please

write to School aisvadodara1986@gmail.com and we shall try to provide you with instalments of fees

pending during lockdown.

3. All the parents are requested that from June, 2020 onwards please pay the School fees regularly considering

it as their duty towards the School which they have trusted for their children’s education.

4. Please find attached the Fee details along with the modes of payment accepted with this circular.

This will assure us that your ward will be continuing with us for the academic year 2020-21.

Those who are neither paying the fees nor asking for instalment of fee payment for lockdown period shall be

assumed to have intent of NOT continuing in the School.
