Ionic Style: same purpose, more flair->decorative base and top

Corinthian style: fine decorative details, huge, served to hold up buildings & increase the awe of the people

Art & Architecture bring new tech.

Macadam roads- roads that were built with a smooth hard surface that would be more durable and less muddy than soil based tracks.

Arch bridge- bridge with curved arches at each end that help transfer weight from one side to the other, to keep the bridge stable.  

Aqueducts- similar to a bridges; used to carry water across the city. one of the greatest souvenirs of Roman engineering.
