• Issue with unintentional Stop Fail alarms appearing in MINT fixed While running in parallel (MINT) Stop Fail alarms appeared at the moment when one genset closed it's GCB to the bus. Other controllers sometimes issued Stop fail alarm although the engines were still. The issue has been fixed.

• IL-NT BIO8 Hybrid binary input/output module available IL-NT BIO8 is optional plug-in card. Through this card controller can accommodate up to 8 binary inputs or outputs. In LiteEdit PC configuration tool (version 4.4 and higher) it is possible to easily choose if particular I/O will be binary input or output. To insert the module, you must open the cover first (use screwdriver to open) and then insert the module into slot. Once you have inserted it, the module will snap under plastic teeth. It is supposed to be installed permanently. Should you need to remove it, the safest way is to remove whole back cover and than remove module manually. Installing IL-NT BIO8 module is similar to installing RS 232 module. The difference is that module fits to “extension module” slot and after installing IL-NT BIO8 you do not put back the small cover.

Technical details: IL-NT BIO8 plugs into IC-NT controller EXTENSION MODULE port. 8 dedicated pins of the plug-in card’s terminal can be configured as binary inputs or outputs.

• IC-NT CT-BIO7 Hybrid current input & binary input/output module available (SPtM) IC-NT CT-BIO7 is optional plug-in card. Through this card controller can accommodate one AC current (CT) measuring input and up to 7 binary inputs or outputs. In LiteEdit PC configuration tool (version 4.4 and higher) it is possible to easily choose if particular I/O will be binary input or output. NOTE: Current measuring input is intended to measure one phase (AC) current of mains and to limit Export to mains to zero value during parallel to mains operation. This is case of SPtM application, so current input of IC-NT CT-BIO7 module is useful for SPtM controllers only.

• Object load dependent autostart function (peak shaving) added (SPtM) The gen-set can start and stop automatically according to the object load. An automatic start will occur if the object load exceeds the limit given by setpoint PeakLevelStart and remains exceeded for a period longer than PeakAutS/S Del. If the object load drops below PeakLevelStop, the gen-set will be stopped with the same delay as by start. The gen-set load is controlled according to selected mode.

NOTE: The gen-set will stay running if the binary input Rem Start/Stop is active.

PeakLevelStart [kW] Load consumption level the gen-set has to start at. Function is inactive when PeakAutS/Sdel = OFF. Genset start is PeakAutS/S Del delayed after the consumption of the Load exceeds the PeakLevelStart limit. Step: 0.1 kW / 1 kW* Range: PeakLevelStop to 3200.0 kW*

PeakLevelStop [kW] Load consumption level the gen-set has to stop at. Genset stop is PeakAutS/Sdel delayed after PeakLevelStop limit is reached. Load consumption is calculated (not directly measured) as a sum of gen-set and mains active power. Step: 0.1 kW / 1 kW* Range: 0 to PeakLevelStart kW*

*NOTE: The actual setpoint units and range depend on setting of the Power format (see Lite Edit manual).

PeakAutS/S Del [ s ] The condition for the "peak" automatic start or stop must be valid for time period longer than value of this setpoint to execute the automatic start or stop. Adjusting 0 causes stop of the gen-set (if there is no other demand for running) and disables the automatic start. Step: 1s Range: 0 (OFF) – 600 s

• Im CT Ratio setpoint added (SPtM) Im CT Ratio setpoint has been added to Basic Settings group. It defines mains current transformer ratio for current measuring input of IC-NT-CT-BIO7 extension module if used. Range: 1 .. 5000 [A/5A]

• Export Limit setpoint added (SPtM) Export Limit [DISABLED, ENABLED] setpoint has been added to Process Control group. It tells controller to activate protection against power export to the mains. The function limits gen-set requested power to hold import power higher or equal to the setpoint Export kW.

• Export kW setpoint added (SPtM) Export kW [-32000 kW .. 32000kW] setpoint has been added to Process Control group. It defines max limit for export in case Export Limit setpoint is set as ENABLED. Positive value means export limit, zero means no export.

• Synchro Enable setpoint added Synchro Enable [NONE / FORWARD / REVERSE / BOTH] setpoint has been added to Process Control group. • Binary outputs for speed/voltage control Following binary outputs for speed/voltage control have been added to controller:

This output together with the complementary output Speed Down are designed for speed and power control at gen-sets, where the governor does not support analogue control. The outputs are also used for direct control of a gas throttle at asynchronous gen-sets.

Speed Down

This output together with the complementary output Speed Up are designed for speed and power control at gen-sets, where the governor does not support analogue control. The outputs are also used for direct control of a gas throttle at asynchronous gen-sets.

AVR Up This output together with the complementary output AVR Down are designed for voltage and power factor control at gen-sets, where the AVR does not support analogue control.

AVR Down This output together with the complementary output AVR Up are designed for voltage and power factor control at gen-sets, where the AVR does not support analogue control.

NOTE: Droop function is required when these outputs are used for power factor control.

• Customer Logo screen added Screen dedicated to information provided by customers such as contact numbers, service technician contact and customer message for end users of gen-set has been added. Configuration of this screen is only done by LiteEdit PC software (v. 4.4 and higher).

Information is displayed on so called “Init Screens” which are displayed after controller is switched on or reprogrammed. It is also possible to call these screens from any measurement screen by pressing ENTER and PAGE buttons concurrently and then only PAGE button separately.

• Timer1Function and Timer2Function setpoints added Timer1..2Function [No Func/TEST/TEST OnLd/MFail Blk/Mode OFF] setpoints have been added to Date/Time group. It is possible to choose out of 5 (3) following Timer functions. Binary output Timer is always activated when Timer is active regardless of chosen Timer function.

MINT: No Func: There is no any other function, but binary output ExercTimer1..2 activation. Mode OFF: When this option is chosen then the Timer output is also internally

connected to the Remote OFF binary input AutoRun: When this option is chosen then the Timer directly starts gen-set (in AUT

mode).

SPtM: No Func: There is no any other function, but binary output ExercTimer1..2 activation. TEST: When this option is chosen then the Timer output is also internally

connected to the Remote TEST binary input. TEST OnLd: When this option is chosen then the Timer output is also internally

connected to the Rem TEST OnLd binary input. MFail Blk When this option is chosen then the Timer output is also internally

Repairs • Problem with Actual Reserve screen freezing whilst Chinese language used

Problem with freezing of Actual Reserve screen on controller running MINT application when Chinese language is selected has been fixed.
