UCR vs. SSRS

UCR – Federal mandated credential enforced at state level. Effective Fall 2007 replaced SSRS (Single State Registration). The fee is based on the number of vehicles operating interstate (average revenue of vehicles operating interstate (average revenue collection 1.5 million annually)

SSRS (Single State Registration System) – dissolved in late 2006. It was an initial application fee, an annual renewal fee and a vehicle fee for each vehicle annual renewal fee and a vehicle fee for each vehicle operated in Kentucky (generated an average of 5.3 million annually)
