GENERALITIES ON EQUIPMENT AND REFRESHER ON LUBRICANT 0.5 dDescription o the dierent basic mechanical organs; unctional properties o lubricants;
ISO standards o classication and specications; physico-chemical characterization o
products; chemical composition, o lubricants.
LUBRICATION OF HYDRAULIC CIRCUITS 0.75 dDescription o the dierent types o pumps, distribution and regulation (fow and pressure)
organs. Hydraulic circuits. Functional properties o hydraulic fuids. Classications and
specications o hydraulic fuids. How to recommend a hydraulic fuid. Hydraulic fuids
in use (maintenance, ltration, ollow-up). Pump ailures: identication and remedies.
LUBRICATION OF MACHINE TOOLS 0.25 dDescription o the dierent types o slide-ways and o their dierent lubrication
requirements. Functional properties, classications and specications. Lubrication plans
o machine tools. Possible problems in service.
LUBRICATION OF INDUSTRIAL GEARS 0.75 dDescription and unctioning o the dierent types o gears (spur, helical, bevel, worm
gears). Reresher on EHD lubrication. Functional properties, classications and
specications, mechanical testing o industrial gear oils. Application modes o lubricants.
Recommending a lubricant or a given gear set. Gear ailures in service: identication
and remedies.
LUBRICATION OF JOURNAL AND ANTIFRICTION BEARINGS 0.75 dTechnology o journal and antiriction bearings. Reresher on the lubrication regimes
(hydrodynamic, hydrostatic, boundary, mixed). Mode o application o the lubricants.
Functional properties, classications and specications. Exercises or the selection o a
oil or bearings. Failures o journal bearings and antiriction bearings in service.
LUBRICATION OF TURBINES AND DYNAMIC COMPRESSORS 0.75 dDescription and unctioning o steam, gas, combined cycle and hydraulic turbines, o
axial and radial compressors. Lubrication circuits. Functional properties, classications
and specications according to type o equipment. Follow-up in service and possible
problems.
LUBRICATION OF VOLUMETRIC AND REFRIGERATING COMPRESSORS 0.75 dDescription and unctioning o reciprocating, rotary and rerigerating compressors.
Rerigerating fuids (CFC, HCFC, HFC); replacement o CFC and HCFC. Functional
properties, classications and specications, according to the type o gas compressed
(air, industrial gas, rerigerating fuids). Exercise o selection o a rerigerating oil or a
rerigerating compressor. Possible problems in service.
FOLLOW UP OF LUBRICANTS IN SERVICE 0.5 dInterest. The dierent types o maintenance (preventive, conditional, healing). Aging o
the components, ollow up o lubricants and machines. Management o analysis and
analytical methods used. Analysis menus ollowing the lubricants, periodicity o sampling.
Interpretation o the analysis results.
