• Descriptions\Functional Area Descriptions\Radio Network Operability\ Introduction to radionetwork administration\ Relations between logical radio network objects

Logical structure of the BSDATA database The following figure describes the object collections and the relations between them. In the figure, the objectcollections are described as boxes and object relations as lines. Arrows show the direction of the relation. Twoarrowheads show that the object can be linked to many objects. Weak relations are marked with (W). A weakrelation means that the destination object to which the relationpoints cannot exist without the source object andthe relation to it. For example a BTS cannot exist without a relation to an existing BCF. A discontinuous lineindicates a computational relation. Segment specific object collections are marked with the letter S in the corner of the object box.

EXPLANATIONITEM

is a weak relation. A weakrelation means that thedestination object towhich the relation pointscannot exist without thesource object and therelation to it. For example,a BTS cannot existwithout arelation to someexisting BCF.
