We created a bus company called The Electric Eel; the company specializes in providing educational transport to kindergartens and field trips. Making the children a part of the journey, by including them in the vehicles functions. The children can interact with the interior at their own seat. The seats functions are visualized in three characters: The octopus, the children have to help the bus driver change the battery. The electric eel, the children help the bus to get started by generating electricity. The lantern fish, helps the bus signal when it turns. We also worked with the outside of the bus (exterior) to generate interest from the outside. All the functions are based on cause/effect and are tangible, so the children have to do something physical to get the effect. The concept is based on the dialog and knowledge about the technology. We turn 180 degrees by letting the children explain the technology to their parents. By doing this we hope that the children will feel comfortable driving electric in their future lives

ÅLEN, the electric bus Our concept revolves around getting young families comfortable with electric vehicles, as the situation is now, families have too little knowledge about electric vehicles and therefore too little interest in the subject.

We created a bus company called The Electric Eel; the company specializes in providing educational transport to kindergartens and field trips. Making the children a part of the journey, by including them in the vehicles functions. The children can interact with the interior at their own seat. The seats functions are visualized in three characters:

The octopus, the children have to help the bus driver change the battery.
