The work of the ICSPE was involved during the course of 2010 in assisting the CatholicChurch in Scotland to assess the impact and legacy of the historic visit of Pope BenedictXVI. Researchers made direct contact with planners and participants and undertook ananalysis of the St Ninians Day Parade which was a major component of the programmeof the Papal Visit. This research has provided sound and academically robust evidence todemonstrate the bene t of this event which was witnessed not only by the 125,000 partici -pants who were physically present but by a global television audience of something in theorder of a billion people.

    Celebrating Fife2010 Well-BeingResearch Study(2011)

Over the past year I have worked with Joe and Majella on the wellbeing evaluation ofour year of culture and on the development of our Wellbeing Toolkit which will be the rstof its type in Scotland.
