NASA is planning on setting up a greenhouseon Mars! The space agency says they

have plans to colonize the red planet by 2021 and will need the greenhouse for several

reasons. Of course, the greenhouse will be able to provide food, but it will also be able to

help keep the air clean.

University of Floridas Rob Ferl said, When you get to the idea of growing plants on the

moon, or on Mars, then you have to consider the idea of growing plants in as reduced an

atmospheric pressure as possible. Ferl is a molecular biologist and the director of Space

Agriculture Biotechnology Research and Education at the University of Florida.
