Symptom 

l   When opening a Lumira document in the BI Launch Pad and Central Management Console (CMC), receives the following error:¡ There was an error opening this document 

 You are not allowed to open this document

Environment 

l SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) Platform 4.1, SP3 onwardsl SAP Lumira Server, for BI Platform (LS4BIP), version 1.25l Server operating system: Windowsl Web Application Server: bundled Tomcat

Reproducing the Issue 

1. In BI Launch Pad or CMC, open a Lumira document2. Error message is poped up

Cause 

 As of LS4BIP version 1.25, Lumira documents based on 1) SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or 2) HANA online data sources are notsupported for viewing and editing within BI Launch Pad and CMC.

Note: As illustrated in the screenshot below,

l Lumira document based on HANA online data source is created by choosing the "Connect to SAP HANA" option. If the document is

created using "Download from SAP HANA" option, it can be viewed in BI Launch Pad and CMC after saving to the BI Platform.l Lumira document based on a BW data source is created by choosing the "Connect to SAP Business Warehouse" option.

Resolution 

In the next release of LS4BIP (version 1.27), viewing and editing Lumira documents based on BW data sources will be supported. Refreshing suchdocuments will be supported in later releases.
