Reason and Prerequisites

Basically it is not possible to park a fixed asset retirement document (with customer):

1. Since the system determines proportional asset values for asset retirements, document parking does not make sense, because the correct calculation of the values cannot be ensured. (This is because further postings can be made to the fixed asset at any time before the parked retirement document is posted. These additional postings would change the asset values and thereby the parked document).

2. The infrastructure of the R/3 Financial Accounting does not offer any technical means of implementing document parking of an asset document.

You have to post the fixed asset retirement online without parking.
