0bjectives I. To obtain performance characteristics for a variable speed centrifugal pump operating at 3 different impeller speeds. Performance characteristics of pump are pressure (head) jump, power requirement, flow rate influence, and pump speed influence. II. To identify the relationship of the head along with the efficiency curve and BHP against capacity on graph paper. III. To analyze the behavior of the curve that was plotted after experiment is done . IV. To determine the best operating range of the pump after the experiment. V. To analyze the behavior of the increase of the efficiency of a system.
