Interesting Facts
They lived in teepees while on the hunt.
The animal they would hunt was buffalo.
The plains tribes use every part of the buffalo.
They got here by foot and by land bridge.
“Powwow was a native American dance.”
Comparison between us and them
The plains tribes always worried about what would happen that day were we would worry about what would happen in the future days.
Also we would focus on saving when they would focus on giving.
What we learned
We learned that the Great plains Indians have a lot of tribes. They also really like to hunt buffalo. We are still wondering if they ever got tired of eating buffalo three times a day every day for a year.
