Your job is to research any background information about the book that would be interesting or helpful to know. You might want to learn more about the author or the time period when the book was written. You could also investigate a place or an event that is talked about in the reading. Use the internet or the library to help you find some information on any topic related to the book. You do not need to write a formal report, but make sure you write in complete sentences and explain what you want to know, why you chose that topic, what you learned and where you found your information. When you meet with your group, explain your chosen topic and the information you learned.
