Revised rake links/Composition etc of remaining MG services consequent to closure of Rewari Sadalpur & Sadalpur Hissar (MG) section is being issued separately .Division should ensure removal of surplus MG stock from the section before closure.

Sub: Re-opening of Raghunathgarh halt for passenger traffic

The competent authority has given approval for re-opening of Raghunathgarh Halt station for passenger traffic. This station is situated on Anupgarh Suratgarh BG section between Kalyankot and Swarupsar Jn. at 29 Kms from Suratgarh. The approval has also been given for the stoppage of the trains 1 / 2 SA and 3 / 4 SA with Swarupsar being the serving station. The train guard will sell the tickets for the time being till a local ticket selling agent is appointed the approval for which is also given herewith. The desired action may be taken in this regard and action taken be informed to this office. After six months, the sale of ticket statement alongwith earning statement may be forwarded to this office for review.

Sub: Notification of train services for rationalization of rates for parcel and luggage traffic.

In reference to para no. 4.0 of the Boards letter No. TC-II/2046/06/1 of date 21/01/2008 (Freight Marketing Circular No.2 of 2008) the enclosed list of Mail /Express /Passenger trains originating from North Western Railway are notified as Rajdhani /Premier Parcel/Standard parcel service trains.

It may be ensured that charging of parcels by these notified trains is done at Rajdhani/Premier parcel /Standard parcel scale i.e R, P and S at all stations from where the parcels are booked by the trains with effect from 01/03/2008 and remain valid for one year or till any revision is issued in this regard.

Sub: Amendment No. 9 to Comprehensive Parcel Leasing Policy - Policy for leasing of parcel space of Brakevans (SLRs), Assistant Guards Cabin (AGC) and leasing of Parcel Vans (VPHs/VPs/VPUs) on round trip basis.(Freight Marketing Circular No. 1 of 2008)

Ref: Comprehensive Parcel Leasing Policy Boards letter No. 2006/TC(FM)/10/1 dated 28.03.2006 Freight Marketing Circular No. 12 of 2006 and the concerned amendments issued from time-to-time.

1.0 With a view to simplify some of the provisions of Comprehensive Parcel Leasing Policy (CPLP) , the following amendments are made:-

2.0 Para (B)-1 (i), Para (B) 1(ii), Para (B) 1(iii) and Para (B)-2 is deleted.

3.0 Para (C)-2 is replaced as under: -

If more than one 4 tonnes compartment of Brakevans (SLRs) are to be leased out on the same train, the Division(s) may award the contracts through one tender for all the available compartments. Tender Committee may award contracts for the compartments to the highest offers received (H-1, H-2 and
