Grass-Fed Turkey Hot Dog from Ferndale Market in Cannon Falls, MN Whole Grain Bun from Pan-O-Gold Bakery in St. Cloud, MN BBQ Baked Beans from Captain Ken’s in St. Paul, MN Broccoli Salad from Cala Farm in Turtle Lake, WI (right across the border!) Haralson Apple from Minnesota Harvest Orchard in Jordan, MN Strawberry Banana Jonny Pop from Jonny Pops in St. Louis Park, MN

PA/LUNCHROOM ANNOUNCEMENT: Did you know that school lunch today features items freshly-picked from farms just a few miles away from the Twin Cities? On the first Thursday of every month, lunch in the cafeteria feature ingredients grown and raised in Minnesota. For example, the Haralson apples are coming from Minnesota Harvest Orchard in Jordan, MN just 33 miles away. Hope you enjoy the fresh food from our farmer neighbors!

The broccoli for the November 5th meal is coming from Cala Farm, just 76 miles from Minneapolis.
