We are saved by Christ’s life - verse 10
Well if I already have it, then I can just live any way I like and Jesus will sort it out.
I can sin as much as I like or I really don’t have to do anything it all depends on Jesus – praise God?
The Prize of the Gospel
How then shall we live?
Romans 5:12-6:14
“This is an important section
where all the lines of Paul’s thinking converge, both those of the preceding chapters and those of the chapters to follow.”
Comments
“This difficult portion of the
Epistle, packed with close reasoning and theological terminology, stands at the very heart of the development of Paul's thought.”

Sin into the world Disobedience All mankind affected Death Condemnation Death reigns Powerless
God’s grace Far greater than
trespass Overcomes sin of the
whole world Justification Life for all people Righteousness
reigns Eternal
One act of trespass = condemnation and
death for all mankind. One act of righteousness = justification and
life for all mankind.
One act of disobedience by one man = the many were made sinners
One act of obedience by one man = the many are made righteous.

How then shall we live?
Rasputin
Shall we remain in our sin so that grace may
increase? By no means! Away with the nation! Perish the
thought! No way!
How we live matters a lot!
How we live matters a lot!
How we live matters a lot!
Do not let sin reign in your heart, Do not offer your bodies to sin. Rather offer your bodies, every part of
you to God. Let Him, who has given you life use you
for righteousness. Sin is no longer your master. You are not under the law, but under
grace.
So how should we live?
