At this time, the group will be welcomed e.r.d introduced to NAS..A. and Air Force officials. It is · pro~oced that the Ascociate Director at the Iengley Research Center' present a. brief but conposite review of NASA-CART activities followed by e. review of the inspection program. Following this, the entire group vrill proceed to the test section of the full-sea.le tunnel. At th.is stop, a group picture will be taken and. a. 20-:minute l 1 eview of low-speed research viJ.l be made.

The attachment sets forth the special duties of individuals who are assigned to participate in the 1964 NASA Field Inspection which will be held from May 18, 1964 through May 22, 1964. The individuals listed ·in the attachment will be advised of .any changes in schedules and duties by. th'e head of the group in which they are wo'rking.
All administrative activities for the Inspection are being coordinated in Room 202, Building 1212. · In the event of ·any emergency which prevents, ' ' '
a person from being at his station when assigned, the person should contact Mr. Edward T. Maher, extension 3487. The Job ·order, for .the Inspection is AGA-807.

b. Telephone Attendants are to take their respective stations at 8: 00 a. m. EST. ~a attendant must.be stationed at the telephone at all times. Telephones s~ould be answered on the first ring. All calls should be short to keep the lines free for incoming calls. The code call system will be disconnected during ,the Inspection. The Base Theater telephone attendant will be on duty only from 7: 30 a. m. to 9: 30 a. m. The Morale Activities Building attendant will be on duty. from .9: 00 ·a. m. to 5: 00 p. m. each day.

SPECIAL BULLETIN
Two NASA Spacemobiles will be on hand at Langley Research Center for the Open House Program, Saturday, May 23, 1964. Identical programs (of about one hour duration) will be given as follows :

There are limited seats available for each program and the doors of each facility will close promptly to allow the lecture-demonstrations to commence on schedule .
It is suggested that as many staff members as possible avail themselves of the opportunity to attend one of the Spacemobile programs . They are very informa tive and well presented. It is likely that the best chance for seats will be at the 10: 15 a . m . performances. Staff members desiring to attend these performances. should take the special bus ses from the Hangar as soon as they arrive at the Center and then return to the Hangar area for the major displays. Parking for the Open House will be restricted to the area around the Hangars.
