Brandon-Sara & the boys
We are Brandon and Sara. We have been together for 4.5years. We were engaged in December of 2016. We got married
in 2018. Between us we have 3 boys but none of them witheach other. We have 3 sons of our own. Jackson is 16 yearsold and a junior in high school. Lincoln is 9 and in 4th grade.Dominick is 7 and in second grade. These 3 boys constantly
have us on our toes! We would really like to have theopportunity to raise an infant together. Sara had to have ahysterectomy due to medical complications shortly after we
began dating. Brandon was not able to be involved nearly asmuch as he would have liked in raising his son. We have spenta lot of time discussing options and what the right choice wouldbe for our family. Both of us have multiple family members whowere adopted. We ultimately decided that is a tradition that we
would like to continue into our home and the perfect way tocomplete our family.
What Sara says about BrandonBrandon is so much more than what he will give himself credit for. Modest would be an
understatement for him. He is so kind and caring. He came into my sons lives when they were 11and 2. Neither of which is an easy age. Because of the way that he loved the 3 of us it was never
even an issue. He is so respectful of others. Coming into our lives he has always been a support forthe boys without overstepping the lines of trying to “be their dad”. He loves to be helpful to others. Ican promise you that if anyone were to call and ask him for help with something that unless he had
previously made a promise to me or the boys that he would absolutely go out of his way to helpthem.
Brandon has worked so very hard to get where he is in his career. He has been with his employerfor 14 years in total and has recently been tracked for management. I have no doubt that he will be
on the fast track as management based on his strong work ethics. Brandon enjoys spending time with family. One of his favorite things to do is just spend time at
home with our boys. He enjoys watching the Iowa Hawkeyes play pretty much any sport. St LouisCardinals baseball. He also enjoys spending time with friends. In the summer that can be with
camping, kayaking, biking, and bonfires. In the winter that is more along the lines of going out todinner or spending time at each others houses.
Brandon is already a great dad to our 3 boys. He is so patient with them and always willing to helpthem out. He is also such an advocate for helping them understand how they can do things on their
own. Because while we may not want them to grow up we want to make sure that they areprepared for the future. Brandon is so accepting of the different personalities of each of our boys
that I know no matter who our baby is that he will love them so much. My favorite thing about Brandon is listening to him talk about things that he is passionate about.
Typically he stays fairly quiet. But once you get him to talking about something that is important tohim he becomes so animated about it. You can just see how much those things mean to him.
Sara is a very loving and accepting person. She is strong willed and determined. When she setsa goal she lets no obstacle stand in her way and does not give up no matter how hard it is.
Sara has been very successful in her career and has no one to thank but herself. She is
extremely motivated and determined to provide the best possible life for her family.
First and foremost Sara enjoys her boys and doing whatever makes them happy. She alsoenjoys spending time with friends either that be camping, kayaking, going out for dinner, or just
hanging out. She has also started blogging and has been doing a wonderful job at that.
Every minute I have spent with Sara has been my favorite. I am most fond of the little spur of themoment dates we have had. Going out to dinner at the last minute and just chatting and
spending time with one another.
Sara is already one of the best mamas I know! She has so much love for her boys and hasaccepted my son as her own as well. She has a great approach at parenting that involves
endless love and affection while still having rules and discipline which has obtained both loveand respect from her children.
Sara has the largest heart of any person I have every met. She cares so deeply for her friends
and family that she puts them first before herself. I am an extremely lucky man to call this strong, loving woman my wife!
What Brandon says about Sara
about our love: We have “clicked” from the day that we met and essentially
been inseparable since that day. We both have a very stronglove of family. We enjoy many of the same activities. Brandonhas actually gotten Sara interested in many different outdoor
activities she had never tried before. Ultimately ourdifferences are what make us compatible. We really seem tobalance each other out. Sara is a dreamer with huge goals
and dreams for the future. Brandon is the one to talk throughthings and put them into perspective, while at the same time
being so supportive.
We just moved into our home 7 monthsago and already it feels like a home. Wehave a 2 story home with 4 bedrooms
and 2 bathrooms and plenty of room foreveryone. Our home is located in a quiet
neighborhood so we can really enjoyspending time outside as well. Home is a
safe place for us and where we reallylove to spend our time. There are manyparks, bike trails, and bodies of water foroutdoor activities. We also have many
dog parks around. We have localbaseball and hockey teams and really
enjoy attending their games.
We have so much love to give to a child that we cannot evenbegin to explain. Our 3 boys mean the world to us and
somehow we are capable of loving each of them with our wholeheart. While that doesn’t seem to make sense somehow it iscompletely possible. And that is how we know that another
child coming into our family would be loved just the same. Thetheme that we have put behind our adoption process has been“Love Makes A Family” because while biologically we do not
share these children that says nothing about them being or notbeing our children together because we love them all the same.
