At their last meeting, the commission requested William Hysell, Prime's genen.l manager to further clarify the increase in the Universal tier's service from $25 to $99.50. Assistant County Attorney Ralph Grutz... macher waa also instructed to report on whether the commis­sion had the authority to issue an order prohibi-ting Prime Cable from charging the high in&~alla· tion fee. The commission was concerned that the increase could be ch-aracterized as "dis­criminatory" because of thr- dis­paritY with the general $25 in­stallation charge.

At the regular city coon­eO meet:iq on April 4, Keith Chernlkotf, speaking on be­half of Citizens for a North Ead Center (CNEC), pre­. seated a petition urging that a maater plan for the entire North End School building be dntted as soon as possi­ble. CNEC member. Tony ·Piaano supported the peti­ticlll by urging, "We've got to l!et the ball rolling."
