Protect panels

Protect panel have bigger choice of standard colors and also

different profiles (stucco, smooth, V-profile etc). Protect panel is

with finger protection.

Standard panel is available in limited standard colors and in

limited profiles (only traditional stucco lamella).Standard panel

have no finger protection and it is so called traditional industrial

panel.

Minimum space requirements for Kinema doors

Sectional doors open vertically.This type of construction provides for maximum

available space both inside and in front of the door. The whole system is installed

behind the opening providing full use of the available door opening width and height.

This solution will also minimize a possible system damage.

Sections are made of anodized aluminium profiles with finger safe protection or a traditional „nose form“. The frame can be filled with various materials, depending on the required heat insulation, transparency and general appearance.

Kinema sectional doors are tested and certified according to

the European standard EN 13241-1.

1 Finger safe protection prevents the risk of fingers being trapped and wounded between sections (in the execution Protect)

2 Compact side guides make it impossible to insert a hand or any other object between the guide profiles and the door leaf.

Bottom bar

For industrial doors with a pass door the bottom section of which is made of a panel, the so-

called high bottom bar is always used (natural aluminium, 100 mm high). For garage doors

this bar is used for door width W ≥ 4 000 mm and for doors with a low threshold. For garage

doors < than 4 000 mm with a standard threshold a bar 40 mm high is used.

Strut within the door leaf

The door including a pass door should be provided at least by one strut within the door leaf.

This strut is recommended to be mounted directly above the pass door (on the 4th section).

Due to added strut the rigidity of the fourth section will be increased that was reduced by

cutout for the pass door.

Positioning of windows

The pass door may include windows only in the 2nd and 3rd sections. Positioning of a

window in the 1st and 4th sections is not possible for technical reasons.

Opening of the pass door

The pass door in the sectional door can be opened only outwards. Opening of the pass door

in the direction inwards is not possible for technical reasons – the complete weight of the

pass door would lie only on the snap-bolt of the door lock after moving the door leaf into

the horizontal part of the rails. A self opening of the pass door could cause a damage of the

whole door leaf.

Positioning of pass door hinges

For clear identification of positioning of pass door hinges when viewed the door from inside, it should be always specified, if the given pass door is a left pass door (it has hinges on the right when viewed from inside), or a right pass door (it has hinges on the left when viewed from inside).

Door parameters

Maximum door width with a pass door is 6 000 mm. Maximum surface of a door leaf with a

pass door is 30 m2 (this is valid for a door leaf without aluminium – FVE – sections or for a

door leaf with maximum three FVE sections). Maximum surface of a door leaf with a pass

door including more than three FVE sections is 22 m2 (this is also valid for a door where all

sections are FVE).

The absolute through width of a pass door within the door leaf is 875 mm. The through

height of the door is approx.
