losses during charging due to heat generation, which damaged the batteries. For this reason, the photovoltaics experts were looking for a way to supply their forklift trucks with self-generated solar power without any detours.

Fronius provided the solution in collaboration with the Perfect Charging and Solar Energy business units: six Selectiva battery chargers supply the forklift fleet with energy in a gentle, efficient manner using the Ri charging process. This energy comes from a PV system on the roof which is equipped with five Fronius Symo inverters. S:FLEX is now able to benefit from dynamic feed-in management and clear consumption visualisation, and is very satisfied with this complete system sourced from a single supplier.
