For the security levels P-6 and P-7 (according to DIN 66339) grant Krug & Priester a 2 year warranty against any breakage on the cutting shafts see defi nition of normal use.

Intended use:1. This document shredder is intended for shredding paper.2. The hardened solid steel blade shafts are insensitive to small amounts of paper clips and staples. This does not apply to models with 0.8 x 12 mm and smaller particle cut. In this case, the paper to be shred must not contain any paper clips or staples.3. Depending on the device model, small amounts of CDs, credit and customer cards as well as discs can also be shred. Visit www.eba.de to fi nd out whether your device, because of the output and cutting geometry, is also suitable for shredding these data carriers

Press the rocker switch (1.) quickly:green light is on, the machine is now ready for operation. Starts automatically whenpaper is inserted (2.). Press and keep pressed switch (1.).Machine starts and shreds the remainingpaper in the inlet shaft, without contacting the light beam, afterwards automatic startwhen inserting paper.Stops automatically when no further paper isinserted. Automatic standby that switches offafter 15 minutes. The machine can be switched off at any time by pressing the switch. (Not possible when the machine is in reverse motion). Green LED control light is off. There will be no power consumption any more.

Stops automatically if too much paper is inserted.Automatic reverse if paper jams (Button "ON/OFF" lights red) (1.). Remove paper (2.).Re-feed the paper in smaller quantities (3.). Interrupting the shredding procedure: Press green button, machine stops and button changes to red. Press red button for any length of time (4.) machine runs in reverse and the button fl ashes green. Remove paper (5.). Machine is ready for operation.

Empty the shred bins in suffi cient time, at least daily, so that no interference iscaused to the cutting heads. If a paper jam, as described on page 12,cannot be corrected, because of an over fi lled shred bin, the shred bin must beemptied (see page 13).
