Loading Dock This position will involve multiple forms of manual
labor, but is also an excellent way to network with employers. Attire:
Please plan accordingly and if you wish to attend the career fair please bring business clothes to change into.
Duties: AM/Assist with transport of materials (boxes, etc.) from
employer’s vehicle on to carts, and assist in general set-up.
PM/Assist with packing-up materials (boxes, etc.) from employer’s tables, putting on to carts and transporting to the loading dock.
Employer Greeter This position is an excellent opportunity to
network with employers. Attire:
Business professional attire (Business suits) – ladies please wear business slacks, appropriate tops and comfortable business shoes.
Duties: Professionalism is a must; you will be the first
impression employers have of George Mason students! You will greet employers and accompany them to their table. You must be able to answer any questions they may ask or know the correct point of contact/who to ask.
Student Check-in/Exit This position is perfect for networking with
students, George Mason staff and employers. Attire:
Business casual; appropriate tops, slacks and comfortable business shoes.
Duties: Assisting with check-in (ie. card swipe & tally), handing
out maps, managing the name badge table, routing traffic to appropriate tables, assisting with student exit survey.
Interacting with Employers & those attending the Career Fair. Be attentive!
NO Texting, Chatting
