Rowley spent his pocket money to buy his best friend ever (whole wide world friend) a pendant just like an engaged couple would have done. He wanted his friendship to be official !

Greg was gobsmacked, he didn’t get the point and thought jewels are usually offered to girls ! Rowley’s present was a flop !

8) Sum up Greg’s bad tricks on Rowley.

First, one day, he told him the boys’ and girls’ locker rooms were labeled wrong ! His plan was successful since Rowley got mistaken and burst into the wrong locker when the girls were changing their clothes ! They were shocked, they screamed and poor Rowley was sent to the principal’s office!

Last year he made him believe it was pajamas’ day at school ! He was the only one to wear his night clothes and the whole class laughed at him !!

9) Pick out and highlight in the text the sentences showing Rowley didn’t realize he’s been tricked!He is always giving me tips about school.It turns out Greg got his facts mixed up on this one.Greg actually makes those kinds of mistakes a lot.Luckily Greg forgot to wear his pajamas to school so he didn’t get embarrassed too.
