1. Register as a producer
2. Collect data on the tonnage and material type of the packaging handled
3. Understand how that packaging was used
4. Populate packaging data tables
5. Document methodology for audits
6. Ensure data is "as accurate as reasonably possible".
7. Keep data for a minimum of 4 years
8. Provide a compliance plan (>500T Obligation)
9. Carry out Recovery & Recycling; Source PRNs
10. Provide Consumer Information
11. Provide a Certification of Compliance

Producers are companies that import, export, manufacture or
re-brand EEE
All Producers Must:-
1. Register with a compliance scheme
2. Report EEE “put on the market” by category
3. Meet recycling targets
4. Declare EEE Producer Registration Number to distributors
5. Mark EEE with the ‘crossed out wheeled bin symbol’
6. Mark New EEE with a ‘date mark’
7. Mark EEE with his ‘producer identification mark’ (PIM)
8. Provide information on reuse and treatment of EEE
9. Comply with other EU member state WEEE regulations
