The world’s population is becoming increasingly urban and the trend toward urbanization continues. According to United Nation reports over 54% of the world’s population lives in cities and it’s expected to reach 66 % by 2050. This causes rising demand for housing and space in the cities.

S O L U T I O N

Together with the Swiss High Tech Timber group of construction professionals we propose a solution to this situation: renovation of existing buildings and extending them vertically.

C H A L L E N G E

Our main focus is on enlarging usable space by adding vertical extension to an existing footprint of the building ( but not to disturb existing foundations ) , finding most efficient and cost effective construction solution for that ( light but high quality structure, quick to install ) and high energy efficiency of the entire building.

To fulfill all these criteria, we have chosen prefabricated timber construction.

Early and precise control of costs, due to 3D planning and calculation (BIM).
