With these renderings, I used Photoshop to create digital images that showcase the color scheme throughout the house.

Hospitality Design Skylines Cafe
Claire Pickford | Design Portfolio 9
Build a cafe in the preexisting building of Morrill Hall that is heavily inspired by social nature of European cultures. I wanted to provide an very open and airy space to encourage people to be very social. I wanted to create a space for the students of Iowa State University to go to when they're feeling stressed or overwhelmed with homework. They can go to Skylines to get away from all of that stress to go hang out and meet other college students. I also incorporated four small desks in the turret of Skylines for people who do want to study, but get away from the library or their rooms. This study area is separated by a glass partition wall with a silhouette of a city skyline. I chose to use glass to help with the noise pollution, but students will still feel included in the rest of the cafe.
